Mi Raje how the prayer is obligatory? Ibn Abbas (RA) said: Abu Sufyan Ibn Harb (RA) narrated to me in the hadith of Heracles. He also said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) enjoined us on prayer, truthfulness, and purity of character.
342. On the authority of Yahya Ibn Bukair (RA) on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA), who said: Abu Dharr (RA) narrated on the authority of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) that he said: The roof of my house was opened. I was in Mecca then. Then Gabriel (A.S.) came and tore open my chest. And he washed it with the water of Yam Yam. Then he brought a golden vessel full of wisdom and faith and poured it into my bosom and closed it.
Then he took me by the hand and took me to the sky of the world. When I reached the sky of the world, Gabriel (A) said to the guardian of the sky: Open the door. He said: Who? Answered: I am Gabriel, asked again: Is there anyone else with you? He said: Yes, Muhammad is with me. He said again: Has he been invited? He replied: Yes.
Then when the sky opened, we were the first to go up into the sky. There I saw a man sitting and many human figures on his right side and many human figures on his left side. When he looks to the right, he smiles and when he looks to the left, he cries. He said: Good luck, O virtuous Prophet! O, good child! I asked Jibreel (A): Who is this? He said: This is Adam (A). And on his right and his left is the souls of his children.
The people on the right side are Jannatis and the people on the left side are Jahanni. That is why he laughs when he looks to the right and cries when he looks to the left. Then Gabriel (A.S) ascended to the second sky with me. He got up there and said to the guard: Open the door. Then the keeper asked the same question as the keeper of the first sky.
Then he opened the door. Anas (RA) said: Then Abu Dharr said: He (the Prophet, peace, and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent Adam (A), Eidrees (A), Musa (A), Jesus (A), and Ibrahim (A) in the heavens. got Abu Dharr (RA) did not specifically state their position.
He only said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed Adam (‘a) in the first heaven and Ibrahim (‘a) in the sixth heaven. Anas (RA) said: When Jibreel (‘A) was taking the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to the side of Idris (‘A), then Idris (‘A) said: ‘Kosh Indeed! Virtuous prophet and good brother! I asked who is he? Gabriel (A) said: This is Eidrees (A). Then I was passing by Musa (A). He said: Good luck! Pious Prophet and good brother. I said who is he? Jibreel (peace be upon him) said: Musa (‘a). Then I was passing by Jesus (A). He said: Good luck! Virtuous Prophet and good brother. I asked who is he? Gabriel, peace be upon him, said: This is Jesus, peace be upon him.
Then I was going to Ibrahim (A). He said: Good luck! Virtuous Prophet and righteous child. I asked who is he? Gabriel (peace be upon him) said: This is Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Ibn Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Ibn Hazm informed me that both Ibn Abbas and Abu Habba Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Then I was raised higher, and I reached a level place from where I could hear the writing of a pen.
got Ibn Hazm (RA) and Anas Ibn Malik (RA) said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Then Allah made fifty times Salat (prayer/prayer) obligatory on my Ummah. When I was passing it to Musa (peace be upon him) on my way back, Musa (peace be upon him) said: What has Allah made obligatory on your Ummah? I said: Fifty times Salat (prayer/prayer) is obligatory. He said: Go back to your Lord. Because your Ummah will not be able to earn it.
I went back. Allah reduced some parts. I went to Musa (peace be upon him) again and said: He has reduced some parts. He said: Go back to your Lord. Because your ummah will not be able to earn it. I went back. Then some more parts were reduced. Again I went to Musa (peace be upon him), and this time he said: Go to your Lord again. Because your ummah will not be able to earn it.
Then I went again, then Allah said: These five (in terms of reward) will be fifty (counted). There is no change in my words. When I came to Musa (peace be upon him) again, he said to me again: Go back to your Lord. Then Gabriel took me to Sidratul Muntaha. And then it was covered with different colors, the purpose of which I did not know. Then I was taken to Paradise. I saw that it had a necklace of pearls and its soil was musk.
343. Abdullah ibn Yusuf (RA)……….. Narrated Umm La Mu Minin ‘Aisha (RA), who said: Allah Ta’ala made two rak’ahs of Salat (prayer/prayer) obligatory in the state of Muslim and during the journey. Later in Safar, the Salat (prayer/prayer) was kept as before and the Salat (prayer/prayer) was increased in Muqim.
